Today we are all about rest and relaxation. You've kicked some major a$$ this week and you deserve this rest day!

On your day off, you can either take the day completely off, or I'd suggest getting in some foam rolling, stretching, meditation or even some light yoga or therapy work. I'd recommend performing 20 to 30 minutes of stretching exercises.

Here are some of my favorites for rest days:

  • Crossover Symmetry (I highly recommend the Hip Halo and Shoulder systems. You can use these prior to your workouts, you can also find these products on my Amazon page.)

  • Gaia Yoga (Rodney Yee's yoga programs are some of my fav's!)

  • Take a leisurely stroll or low intensity walking on the treadmill... but really, get outdoors and breathe some fresh air!
