Guacamole Turkey Burgers

Burgers... goood!

Guacamole.... goood!

Put them together.... heck yeah!

Switch up your burger game with a healthier, tastier alternative! Filled with tons of protein, healthy fats and whole grains, you won't ever go back to your average burger again!


Makes 4 burgers


  • 1lb 93% or 99% lean ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup of oats

  • 1 green onion, chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 egg white, beaten

  • 1 TBS lime juice

  • 1 TBS dried parsley

  • 1 TBS onion powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl using your hands or a spatula.

  2. Divide into 4 equally portioned patties.

  3. Heat on a grill or large pan sprayed with cooking spray to medium-high heat.

  4. Cook burgers for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.

  5. Serve on a whole grain or gluten free bun, or lettuce wrap (lower carb option) topped with guacamole, lettuce, tomato and other toppings of choice.


  • 1 large avocado

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped

  • 2 to 3 TBS finely chopped cilantro

  • Salt to taste


  1. Remove avocado pit and place avocado in small bowl.

  2. Using a fork, mash the avocado until it's the consistency of your liking.

  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and combine.
