QUICK & EASY OVERNIGHT PROATS

Are you ready to crush your protein goals with ease? This quick and easy overnight proats recipe is your answer, packing an incredible 40g of delicious protein to leave you feeling satisfied and energized to kickstart your day!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup oats
1 scoop of protein of choice
1/2 cup of milk (I use Fairlife Fat Free for added protein)
1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
1 cup of frozen fruit (I use dark cherries and wild blueberries)
Lemon or lime juice (optional)
Optional Add Ins: chia seeds; chocolate chips, slivered almonds, hemp seed
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium saucepan, cook frozen fruit over a medium heat. Add a splash of lemon or lime juice for an added kick if you'd like! Stir until fruit becomes soft, but be careful to not overcook! Once fruit is softened, remove from heat and set aside.
In a mason jar, you will prepare your overnight proats! Add in yogurt, protein powder and milk and mix together.
Add in oats and mix together. Add in any additional items at this time.
Top with fruit compote, screw the lid on and place in the fridge overnight!
It's literally that simple!
Feel free to add or take away some of the milk based on what kind of consistency you prefer. You can also substitute milk for kefir for an even thicker consistency.
Macros will be based upon the kind of protein, yogurt and milk you use, along with any other additional add-ons.
