Forget candy, keep it healthy with this decadent chocolate covered strawberries protein smoothie!
CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
1 Scoop of Vanilla or Chocolate Protein Powder
1 Cup of Frozen Strawberries
1 Banana, Sliced (for a creamier smoothie, slice and freeze your banana the night before!)
1 TBS Cocoa Powder
1 TBS Honey
1 1/2 Cups of Chocolate Almond Milk or FairLife Chocolate Milk (Great for added protein! Since this is a sweeter option, you can omit the honey.)
1 Cup of Ice
1 TBS of Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Place all ingredients (minus chocolate chips) into your blender and mix well. Top with sprinkled chocolate chips or chocolate sprinkles.
Tip: Whenever I have bananas that are starting to ripen too fast, I'll slice them up and put each one in an individual zip-loc bag and freeze for my smoothies.
